1885 Victorian Bustle Dress by Lady-Disenchanted 1885 Victorian Bustle Dress by Lady-Disenchanted
HSC Major done!
This is my textiles major, a period 1885 Victorian Bustle Dress.
I drafted the patterns for it myself from historical patterns, an resized them to modern standards. Also I made all the underwear, a bustlecage and HUGE petticoat. I'm so happy I made this, its something I wanted to make for ages, but it was so hard!
Proud I did it though...
Please tell me what you think! And please excuse the dodgy photos, will do a proper shoot when I get it back :)

This is really awesome-I'm planning on making a bustle dress for a Christine cosplay (pray for me) so I was just wondering if you had any tips? Especially since yours came out so fabulously! I'm looking forward to seeing more photos of this dress, its just so pretty. O.O

gooooorgeous, absolutely lovely  do you have more photos of it, especially from the front (and maybe even of the petticoat)?
anyway, congratulations it's REALLY pretty, colours, the shapes and trimmings and everything. So it was definitely worth your hard work and the high budget :D
