Main Animania, Sydney 2010

Well I am back from Main, home, and partially unpacked. What a great weekend! Definitely worth all the work and moneh and travel!

Saturday was awesome, and I was so happy to finally be able to wear my Doll cosplay. After 180 white roses, it wasn't as much of a hassel to wear as I thought. The only issue was the ribbons on the ballet shoes I made which just wouldn't stay up on my legs. I ended up hot-glueing them to the stockings in the bathroom which worked perfectly.

The competition was fun, I was first up T_T Everyone looked amazing! I was lucky enough to win Best Female Cosplayer. Its my first win, as I have only ever placed runner up once before. I was stoked! I can't wait to cosplay more, but alas one year's hiatus due to the HSC -__-

The WCS was insanely good again, such amazing costumes. Congratulations to Haraju2girls, your skit was mind-blowing and from one of my absolute favourite Manga, Alichino! It was so beautiful and you deserved it entirely.


Sunday was just a relaxed day for me, I came in sweet lolita and hardly anyone recognised me! It was fun to actualy have time to visit some panels and see all the attractions as I haven't been able to do that while cosplaying.

All up a great weekend, and I miss Sydney already!
